Our History

2025

20 years of trust, and counting

We mark the milestone with a refreshed visual identity and anniversary logo. In 2005, we began as a delivery partner, and today, we are our clients' strategic ally. Thank you for being with us throughout the years. More is coming, so stay tuned.

2023

Sharper signal, clearer voice

We update our positioning and tone to reflect who we are: a trusted advisor for product teams seeking performance, not noise.

2022

xfive levels up

With experience comes evolution. We expand our role in product development, still delivering code, but also UX, UI, and product design, for which we are becoming known.

2019

Growth in scope and ambition

A new identity brings new responsibilities. We support partners through complex web applications, scaling with them, project by project.

2016

A new name

We rebrand as xfive. Easier to say, easier to remember. But we keep our 'culture of fives' at the core. Strategy becomes part of every build.

2014

A new home

We open a modern office in Kraków, Poland. It's a hub for our growing global community of team members and partners. A European location from where we access the world.

2012

x-culture, broader horizons

We expand into dedicated brands specializing in key areas of web development. What unites us? x-culture: a work environment where the best perform at their best, and enjoy it.

2008

Big collaborations

Now you know who coded Twitter's (now X) first UI. From the start, our strength was in high-stakes execution. eBay, Fox, and Rogers soon joined our client list.

2005

The beginning: from shared desk to shared vision

Dave Rosen and Stan Dzavoronok launch a developer collective inside a Melbourne design agency. They call it XHTMLized, a side project with a big future.
