xfive days in 2025 were about the celebration. We celebrated 20 years of trust that xfive brings to its clients, partners, and friends. During these two days, we moved from AI capability to human intentionality that reflects xfive’s belief in balancing strategic innovation with grounded, people-first practices.

Photo studio experience
The event began with a photo session held in a photo studio. We had a great time doing this session. Photos and videos taken there will be used throughout our communication channels. People who participated enjoyed their time in the “spotlights”.

Drama with a positive ending
Everyone was excited for the AI workshop on day 1. xfive days are packed with all the necessary ingredients: knowledge, experience, excitement, action, and fun. This year, drama was also included in the pack. The excitement dissolved slightly during the first block. Unfortunately, it turned out that the workshop was more of a lecture than the hands-on, interactive type of event with practical work experience. Although our expectations were higher, we were able to take away several items that have implications for our clients and us:
- AI won’t replace developers. It will replace repetitive workflows and give developers more room to think, design, and lead.
- Clients will need guidance more than ever. Not on what AI is, but on how to use it responsibly and with purpose.
- Speed and scalability will go up. But so will the need for security, quality assurance, and strategic framing.
- Data handling in AI tools must align with GDPR: That includes prompt content, model training data, and how results are stored or shared.
- Local models may become more attractive for clients with strict compliance needs.
- Ongoing review of third-party service policies (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini) is essential to avoid silent breaches of evolving EU laws.
In short: AI creates leverage, xfive helps apply it.

We never stay in a low mood for a long period of time. For some of the company employees it was a fresh experience. We welcomed our new lead of marketing Anna Cieslik, who will help us to run the marketing department and activities effectively.

A group photo session took place right after the workshop blocks. Photos confirm it; everyone had a good time. Having a good time, even if things are not going according to plan, is important.

A small group of music lovers (and music instrument players) went to a hired rehearsal room for a jam session. What a great way to celebrate xfive days playing some songs together, even though we didn't play together before. xfive is a place for people of many different talents.
Starts with N, ends with N
Day 2 started rapidly under the command of our PM star Magda Bondarenko. She presented the whole team with rapid implementation and validation of AI agents' ideas using n8n - an AI agent generation tool.
The instruction session and tool presentation were quick and informative enough to get us started. Five teams received their task description to create an AI agent. After 30-45 minutes of work, each team presented their agent that solved challenges in the task description. That’s what we call effectiveness.

Chisel just got sharper
Short break and WordPress development leader Rafal Puczel introduced the newest updates to our WordPress development framework, Chisel. The team has made key improvements across the board, from codebase hygiene to onboarding experience, to help teams build faster, cleaner, and with more confidence.

Here’s what’s new at a glance:
- New website: Fresh docs, tutorials, and a better first impression.
- Updated stack: Now PHP 8.2+, Timber, and Twig up to date.
- Refactored code: Safer, cleaner, IDE-friendly.
- Smarter themes: Fewer bugs, more flexibility, smoother dev experience.
- Roadmap open: Dependency upgrades, pattern library expansion, and your ideas.
We’ve cleared the debt, streamlined the tools, and set the stage for what’s next.

Work that works for people
Chisel got us sharp, and Aleksandra (Ola) Kunysz introduced us to Job crafting and how to shape work that aligns with the energy and purpose. Team workshops that mapped values to actions, and individuals to shared goals. And finally, micro-change plans; small shifts with big impact, shared in pairs and closed with celebration. Many of us discovered a new way to do our work without burning out. This exercise gave us food for thought on how to organize our priorities.

The end is good, all good.
With a good flow from the workshops, xfive days naturally culminated in a company dinner at Wesele restaurant. A place where the first company meeting took place 15 years ago. We had fun reminiscing about all those years we spent together.

Some very nice memory waves went through the entire team while watching the presentation prepared by the head of xfive - Milosz Bazela. We received congratulations from company founder Dave Rosen, Amit Sion, CEO of X-Team, and Miles Lagolago-Craig, CEO of XWP. All of them praised Xfive for its longevity and persistence over the years. We enjoyed the moment and tasty Polish cuisine and called it a day around midnight.

Here’s to the next 20 years!
